The Traditional style timber staircase is a model which bases itself on a conventional design intermixed with modern materials. The structure lies within two timber stringers which do not have to be against a wall, giving the staircase the possibility of being a completely free standing stair. Couple this with open risers and/or glass balustrade and you have a really airy feel to the staircase.

You don't have to use glass balustrade or open risers on this timber system however; you could have stainless or powder coated steel spindles running from handrail to stringer. Perhaps even a standard timber spindle - better still; this could be ornately finished. The stringers could be made out of a cheaper timber and then painted a number of different colours and the handrail can come in numerous different sizes and shapes. This is the beauty of a bespoke timber stair.

Like the WF staircase the stair can curve around the corners with both stringer and handrail hand crafted 90 or 180 degrees. The stringers are also always harmoniously curved giving the all stair a wonderful shape.

The  Traditional style staircase comes in numerous different timber finishes: Beech, Oak, Maple, Ash, Mahogany, Walnut etc... and is priced from £ 3,000.00 + VAT depending on what you require.
